Peek into the guts of Microsoft’s dual screen Surface Duo
Is it really a fancy new piece of tech if someone hasn’t torn it to pieces and shown you the insides in a teardown video?
If that’s the metric we’re using, then Microsoft’s Surface Duo, which released on Sept. 10, has officially arrived. The iFixit crew demonstrated exactly what it looks like when you take a $1,400 piece of gear and reduce it to its basic parts.
For those who were hoping to tinker under the hood of their shiny, new Duo, you might want to give this video a look first. It’s impressive to see how the whole thing comes together behind those two touchscreens, but it doesn’t seem to reassemble easily.
