Arguably the most exciting products debuted at the Apple event are the new iPhones. After the last round of iPhones, we were left wondering what could be improved or be that different in a new batch. But the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max rose to the occasion to impress us.

The has two rear cameras and the feature a with an ultra-wide lens, standard wide lens, and 2x telephoto lens. Though the camera bumps are a bit unsightly (and have prompted some pretty good ), they make up for it in performance. These new camera features make iPhones seriously comparable to Android phones that already implement camera-forward specs like ultra-wide lenses and low-light shooting modes.

All of the new iPhone models are powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic processor, which Apple says is the fastest CPU and GPU available in a smartphone. The phones also have improved battery life and better dust and water resistance than previous models.

With the unveiling of new phones came the announcement of new colors, too. The iPhone 11 is available in white, black, green, yellow, purple, and red. These pretty pastel hues are honestly big selling points for the iPhone 11, even if we do keep our phones enclosed in a case at all times. The iPhone 11 Pros have fewer and different color options with midnight green, silver, space gray, and gold. While it’s still nice to have multiple color options, it is a tad disappointing that the Pro colorways are not as bold and cheery as the iPhone 11’s.

Apple aimed to be more accessible with this round of phones when it comes to finances. The iPhone 11 starts at $699, the iPhone 11 Pro at $999, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max at $1,099 with the ability to lower prices with an iPhone trade in. Each of those base costs are for 64GB models.

The new iPhones are available for pre-order as of Sept. 13 at 5 am PT (8 am ET) and will be officially released Sept. 20 (along with other new Apple products). As an added bonus, when you purchase an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Max, you’ll get a year of Apple TV+, the company’s new streaming service.

If you’re needing a little more information and convincing as to why you should pre-order an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Pro Max, check out all of Mashable’s coverage of the Apple event and new phones . If you’re already sold on getting a new iPhone and want us to get to the real reason you’re reading this, then here we go.

Where to buy the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max:

Obviously, you can pre-order Apple products from Apple. The official site takes you step by step in selecting your new phone, including an option to select whether you have a phone for trade in. You can either buy the phone unlocked and SIM-free or activated with your carrier.

If you’re worried about the site traffic that will be funneling to Apple’s official site, you can also pre-order the phones from third-party sellers like Walmart and Best Buy, and potentially get a more flexible payment plan.

Your carrier

You already deal with your carrier to pay for your phone’s plan, so if you want to streamline your purchases and pre-order directly from your service provider, that is also an option. Check out iPhone pre-orders at Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile.
