Twitter is down
What on Earth is happening? First Reddit goes down in the morning and now Twitter is also busted?
Starting at around 2:46 p.m. ET, Twitter.com started having issues with its website. Down Detector (which is owned by Mashable’s parent company, Ziff Davis) reports major outages on Twitter’s website as well as issues with the iOS and Android app.
Several Mashable writers (including myself) have confirmed the iOS app is not working as well.
Yep, Instagram is down in some parts of the world.

Where the heck are people supposed to complain about an online service being down if Twitter, the main place to do it, isn’t working? Facebook? Instagram? Text?
We’ve reached out to Twitter to get to the bottom of the outage and will update this story if we hear back.
