Reason #4,828 we love Trader Joe’s? Ube ice cream.

The grocery store chain recently added the new ice cream flavor to its freezer case and it’s already flying off the shelves. For the uninitiated, ube (pronounced oo-beh) is a purple yam from the Philippines, and it’s commonly used as the base flavor for desserts.

We first noticed that ube was trending in 2016, but we’re thrilled to see the highly Instagrammable veggie making its way to the mainstream. According to Trader Joe’s, the ice cream is “sweet & nutty, with hints of coconut; some liken it to a cross between vanilla and pistachio.” Yum.

Each pint ($3) includes real ube purée, and its purple hue comes from naturally derived ingredients like grape extract and beet juice. The ice cream clocks in at 200 calories per serving. But there’s one catch: It’s only available for a limited time.

If you need us, we’ll be at TJ’s.
