The new 13-inch MacBook Pro is on sale for $200 off at Best Buy
TL;DR: The 2020 MacBook Pro is on sale at Best Buy — take $200 off almost every 13-inch and 16-inch model.
Despite multiple states going green with their social distancing restrictions (subsequently sending a lot of employees back to work), the folks who still aren’t returning to the office are left with questions.
Will I be working remotely forever? Should I call off the babysitter for the summer? Should I finally buy in a laptop in a nice laptop or what?
If it’s looking like this WFH thing is long term for you, the newest 13-inch MacBook Pro is an investment you’ll be thankful to have. Though it’s only been on the market since early May 2020, Best Buy has already dropped the price by $200. Nearly every configuration of the 16-inch Pro are $200 off as well.

The general advice for navigating the world of MacBooks has usually been this: Unless your daily tasks include editing 4K videos or leaving an Adobe program open all day, you probably don’t need the Pro. The Air has received some beefy updates that give it more than enough juice for heavy duty business. However, now that Best Buy’s sale price makes the 512 GB, i5 Pro the same price as the Air with those same specs, there’s no reason to not opt for the Pro. Welcome to club Touch Bar.
This 13-inch MacBook is the first Pro (aside from the massive 16-inch model) to ditch the loathed butterfly keyboard. Apple’s switch to the quiet, comfortable Magic Keyboard is a huge selling point, along with more storage options without major price hikes. What’s not a selling point, however, is the fact that there are only two USB-C ports on the more affordable models.
If you see a combo of storage, RAM, and processor type that speaks to you, buy it now. The cheapest Pro on sale for $1,099.99 is already sold out.
