TL;DR: The GoPro Hero 8 Black and the Hero 8 bundle are on sale for Father’s Day, saving you $100 on each as of June 9.

Campgrounds, kayaking or rafting areas, and bike trails may see a lot of new faces this summer.

As summer plans are delayed or canceled, it’s expected that people will turn to the great outdoors for entertainment. Whether you’re a newbie or have been an outdoor sport devotee for life, there’s something about “that summer where we had to stay six feet apart from other humans” that feels like it deserves documentation. A GoPro will let you relive your best memories from the driver’s seat, and the newest GoPro Hero8 Black is $100 off for Father’s Day.

People have dubbed the Hero 8 as the most stable GoPro ever. The HyperSmooth tech used by the already-great Hero 7 has leveled up to HyperSmooth 2.0, which should keep videos of even the most rowdy activities shake-free. Those videos can also be turned into gorgeous time lapses or live-streamed in 1080p.

Mounting the camera on a tripod (or another accessory) no longer requires a frame. Instead, the Hero 8 has two pieces built into the camera itself that can extend and attach to your mount without extra pieces. Extra accessories, or “mods,” including additional flip-up displays, lights, or microphones can also be added to your purchase.

Hero8 users can also tinker with new features not officially available to the GoPro community yet. Features like ReelSteady GO Optimization, which makes for better post-stabilization by making the in-camera rolling shutter camera correction, as well as a feature offering the ability to control your camera using QR codes. All GoPro owners need to do is download the GoPro Labs firmware.

Add a Shorty grip, Head Strap, a 32GB SD card and a spare battery to your Hero8 Black and get the bundle for $349.99. That’s a $100 savings and $50 more than you’d save at Best Buy.
