The Amazon Black Friday sale will offer literally thousands of deals on the latest consumer electronics and Amazon devices, as well as on toys, games, fashion, jewellery, kitchenware, homeware, and basically everything you could ever want.

There will also be thousands of “Lightning Deals” — products available at a discount, in limited quantities, for a short period of time — with new deals becoming available as often as every five minutes. Amazon Prime members, including customers enjoying a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, will have an exclusive 30-minute early access period to these deals, and this could prove vital to not missing out.

This year’s Black Friday sale could well break all the records of previous years. That’s just the way it seems to go. Amazon will lead the way as usual, and will deliver some seriously big savings.

When is Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2019?

Black Friday always falls on the Friday right after Thanksgiving, and that is on Nov. 29 this year. Cyber Monday is the first Monday after this date, which puts it on Dec. 2 in 2019. The sale period is much longer than just one weekend, but these are the two most important dates to remember.

Gaming is another category that always delivers on Amazon during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Gaming can be a really expensive hobby when you factor in the console, games, and accessories, so it pays to wait and find the best deals during the sale period. Amazon held onto a massive 26% share of the Black Friday market in 2018, and will once again be offering most of the best deals in 2019.

The Amazon Echo Dot and the Fire Stick were favourites with shoppers in 2018, and Amazon devices are likely to be popular again this year. Amazon regularly drops the prices of its devices on Prime Day and Black Friday, and holds the discounts at other times of the year. This means it’s worth waiting for Black Friday if you are in the market for a Echo, Fire Stick, Kindle, or other Amazon device. 

Amazon also offered really impressive deals on 4K TVs last year, with all the top brands dropping in price. Now that this advanced technology is a little less new, we expect lots more exciting offers in 2019. You’ll have to be quick to pick up many of the best deals though, as TVs go fast.
