Remember when the most annoying thing about your workplace was a loud-typing coworker two cubicles down? Ah, simpler times.
From bored kids and stir-crazy pets to chatty roommates and clanging construction sites, anyone who’s fortunate enough to still be working, and doing so from home, is probably dealing with myriad distractions. Trying to focus and get shit done amid a global pandemic is hard enough even without some sort of commotion going on; a noisy environment can be a total productivity killer.

With that in mind, putting noise-canceling headphones on our official list of WFH essentials was basically a no-brainer. Best Buy happens to have a bunch of them on sale right now — click here to shop them all, or just keep reading to peep the very best deals we could find.
These ultra-lightweight in-ear headphones feature a built-in microphone for hands-free calls, Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity for easy wireless pairing with other devices, and an all-day battery that offers up to 10 hours of use per charge. Each pair comes with two sets of ear tips (one small and one large) to ensure a comfortable fit.
Best Buy has them on sale for a mere $29.99, which is $50 off their usual retail price of $79.99.
These first-gen Surface Headphones got Mashable tech editor Pete Pachal’s seal of approval upon their 2018 release: “They sound great, the controls are intuitive, and they have a nice finish, although the actual color is a little meh,” he wrote after taking a pair for a test drive. Of note: Their noise cancelation is adjustable with an on-ear dial, they come equipped with Microsoft’s Cortana virtual assistant, and they offer up to 15 hours of use on a full charge (18 if you turn off voice activation).
The last time we checked, Best Buy had them on clearance — snag a pair for just $192.99, down nearly $160 from their $349.99 MSRP.
With an Apple W1 chip for effortless connectivity, a 40-hour battery life, a “Fast Fuel” charging mode, and Pure ANC technology that both blocks external noises and prevents sound leaks, the Beats Studio3s were a shoo-in for our list of the best noise-canceling headphones on the market.
You can snag a pair in gray at Best Buy for only $199.99, or $150 off their suggested retail price of $349.99.
With that “Sennheiser” name, incredible sound quality is a given for these foldable on-ear headphones. (Spec-wise, they’ve got a 17Hz to 23kHz frequency response and 110dB sensitivity.) Each pair features a Bluetooth 4.2 interface with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and offers up to 30 hours of playback per charge.
Normally $349.99, you can order a pair from Best Buy right now for just $199.99 — a $150 discount.
