Sony’s high-end X900F 4K TVs are on sale for up to $350 off (in 2 sizes, too)
Editor’s note: Both Mashable and PCMag are owned by Ziff Davis.
TVs are one of *the* big ticket items that people look for on Black Friday — and with all of the 2018 ad scans we’ve seen this week, you definitely have that to look forward to. What you probably aren’t looking forward to is battling it out with other customers in stores or getting into a click war online to make sure you get the last TV a millisecond before someone else does.
Make it easier on yourself: With this exclusive deal from the PCMag shop, you can save up to $350 on a TV from Sony’s high-end X900F series, taking the 65-inch down to $1,599 and the 75-inch down to $2,649. That’s even cheaper than the last time we saw them on sale, and cheaper than they currently are on Sony’s website or Amazon.
Around $300 off is the average discount we’ve been seeing in Black Friday TV ads anyway, but to put it into perspective: The Sony X900F’s main competitor is the Samsung 7-series Q7FN, with just about the same specs. Those go for around $2,599 to $3,999, depending on the size and where you find it— so yeah, this is a hell of deal.
As for the fancy stuff you’re paying for, the X900F features support for HDR10, a native 120Hz refresh rate, low input lag, and 4K X-Reality PRO for exceptional gaming, and Sony’s Triluminos technology for picture as if you were really there. It also has built-in Google Assistant.
Amazon customer Rescue51 writes about the X900F:
Well…this TV is bliss. I’m enjoying this 900F even if it’s only been a little over 30 days. Coming from a 8 year old Sony 40″ XBR Z5100, (reviewed in 2010) this has been a BIG difference. Picture on this 900F is just unbelievably clear. Amazing true, pure colors. The full array backlighting with my 3 windows in the living room adjust the brightness/contrast for afternoon viewing perfectly. I think I’ve been also blessed with probably a near flawless panel. Even the STANDARD setting is stunning.
Quite the experience!
Skip the Black Friday bullshit: Save $200 on the 65-inch and get it for $1,599 (regular price $1,799.99) or save $350 on the 75-inch and get it for $2,649 (regular price $2,999.99).
