Save 33% on Instant Brands’ coffee/espresso machine
SAVE $40.11: As of Jan. 11, the new Instant Pod coffee and espresso maker is on sale for just $79.88 at Walmart (or 33% off its $119.99 MSRP).
Instant Brands is coming for your Keurig’s metaphorical neck: The people behind the beloved Instant Pot have translated the convenience and versatility of that multicooker to the caffeine arena in the form of a new coffee and espresso maker called the Instant Pod.
Released at the beginning of fall 2020, the compact, 2-in-1 machine works with both K-Cup and Nespresso capsules in addition to reusable pods — the Earth isn’t going to save itself, after all — so you don’t need separate appliances for different kinds of drinks, nor are you limited to a single manufacturer’s coffee flavors and blends. It also offers a choice of six different cup sizes, from a lone 2-ounce shot of espresso to a 12-ounce mug of java, and a huge 2-liter water reservoir means it can go a while without needing to be refilled.
Why are we bringing this up now? Well, it just so happens that the Instant Pod is on sale at Walmart for a mere $79.88 — that’s just over $40 off its suggested retail price of $119.99, which is what it’s still listed at on the . (For comparison’s sake, the cheapest Keurig-brand machine that can brew both coffee and espresso drinks is currently for $89.)

Mashable hasn’t had a chance to review the Instant Pod, but Walmart customers seem to think it’s a winner — it had a 4.1/5-star rating on Walmart.com at the time of writing with a solid 83% of buyers recommending it. Here’s what a user named Jennifer had to say about it:
“Finally a coffee machine that doesn’t disappoint. With working from home more often now, I am saving lots of money by not frequenting coffee shops anymore so I decided to splurge on a new coffee machine for our household. Sure glad I did! My boyfriend is a bit of a coffee snob and prefers Nespresso while I’ll pretty much drink any coffee that’s on sale so this is the perfect machine for us since we can both have our coffee fix and only have one machine. I bought a re-usable K cup to try also and it worked like a charm! It was super easy to use and clean.”
We’re sold, TBH — smash the blue button below to order one while it’s still on sale.
