TL;DR: The 1TB Xbox One X console is now on sale on Amazon for only $344. It normally retails for $499.99, so you’ll be saving a solid 31%.

Microsoft’s long-awaited reveal last month of the new Xbox Series X console (a.k.a. Project Scarlett) means two things: For one, it means you’ve still got a while to figure out how you’re going to fit that boxy, refrigerator-lookin’ thing inside your media console, as it’s not scheduled to arrive until the next holiday season. More importantly, it also means that retailers are about to start offering steep discounts on previous Xbox consoles to clear out their inventories ahead of its release.

Case in point: Amazon is now offering an amazing deal on the Xbox One X, a super speedy 1TB console that came out in 2017. It usually sells for $499.99, but as things currently stand, you can order it today for only $344 — a 31% savings. (NBD or anything, but that’s its biggest discount in Amazon history.)

Boasting 40% more power than past generations of Xbox consoles (or so Microsoft claims), the One X features a whopping six teraflops of graphical processing power. It’s also the only Xbox console (so far) to include a built-in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, which means you can use it to watch films whenever you’re not in the mood to replay your favorite games.

Speaking of — if your existing library of Xbox titles is starting to feel a little outdated, Amazon is also giving shoppers the option of bundling an Xbox One X with one of several titles from the past couple years. For a limited time, the following options are on sale for up to 33% off:

Even if you opt for a solo Xbox One X console, you’ll still be scoring an incredible deal. Get it here.
