Samsung’s first-gen Galaxy Buds are down to their lowest price *ever*
TL;DR: As of Feb. 26, Amazon has the original Samsung Galaxy Buds on sale for just $94.99. They normally retail for $129.99, so you’ll be saving a whopping 27%. (That’s the biggest discount we’ve ever seen them get.)
We’ve got to hand it to Samsung: Those new second-gen Galaxy Buds+ hit different. They’re not so good that they’ll make you consider ditching your AirPods, mind you, but they’re still a pretty darn good pair of wireless earbuds. (And besides, that’s not really saying anything — most wireless earbuds have a hard time competing with Apple’s buds.)
Like clockwork, Amazon has put the original Galaxy Buds on sale following the new ones’ mid-February debut. (We see this happen almost every time a new iteration of a gadget comes out.) If you order a pair in black, you’ll pay just $94.99, which is 27% off their suggested retail price of $129.99 and the biggest discount they’ve *ever* enjoyed.
If we’re splitting hairs, here, the first-gen Galaxy Buds don’t sound quite as good as the Galaxy Buds+, and their “Ambient Aware” nose isolation mode is just meh in comparison. But those differences are minimal, and they’re still an above-average pair of earbuds — so if you’re trying to decide between the two, Amazon’s $35 discount on the OGs might be just enough to sway you in their favor. (For comparison’s sake, the Galaxy Buds+ remain at their $149.99 MSRP for the time being.)
Spec-wise, the Galaxy Buds feature two drivers each (one for bass, one for volume) and come equipped with adaptive dual microphones that reduce external noises when you’re on a phone call. Moreover, they offer both USB and Bluetooth connectivity — and yes, they work perfectly fine with Apple devices.
Each pair of first-gen Galaxy Buds includes both a wireless charging case that provides up to 7 hours of additional listening, as well as three pairs of adjustable ear tips that let you customize your fit. Get yours here for just $94.99 and take advantage of those sweet, sweet savings while they last.
