ICYMI: Dyson announced a new addition to its hair tool lineup — the Dyson Corrale hair straightener. As  with the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and Dyson Airwrap styler, the Corrale is not cheap. Dyson’s latest has a $499.99 price tag.

The straightener has flexible copper plates that are designed to fully grab your locks so they received even heating and tension. Because these two things are even, Dyson claims you don’t need as much heat, resulting in less damage.

One thing we really love about the Corrale is that it’s cordless, allowing you to style wherever without being tied to an outlet. We recommend this straightener to anyone who has naturally really curly or hard-to-style hair, but maybe don’t drop $500 if a cheaper straightener does the job just fine.

The Dyson Corrale hasn’t made it to every large retailer yet (sorry, Amazon), but here’s where you can purchase the fancy new hair tool for $499.99:
