Giant craters, some as deep as 30 meters, are mysteriously appearing in Siberia
Since 2014, geologists at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Russian have located 17 colossal craters in the far north of western Siberia.
It is likely that a warming climate, causing the Arctic permafrost to thaw, is what’s also causing these violent gas eruptions.
