If you’re in the market for a premium pair of noise-canceling headphones, your latest hobby has likely been hardcore comparing features of the Beats Studio3, Bose QuietComfort 35 II, and Sony WH1000XM3. All have above-average noise cancellation, customizable audio, and will arguably make you the fanciest person on public transportation. To make it even harder, the MSRP for all three is $349 (give or take a dollar).

Here’s your deciding factor: You can now get the Sony WH1000XM3 for under $300. Through Sunday, April 28, this exclusive deal from PCMag gets you Sony’s best headphones for $299.99.

Guys, almost $50 off is huge — especially considering they’ve never been on sale on Amazon.

Audiophiles aren’t about to give the thumbs up just because of a mainstream name, but Sony seems to have everyone impressed. Mashable’s Ray Wong writes in his review:

“When it comes to blocking out all outside noise (especially when you’re flying) Bose’s QuietComfort 35 II and Sony’s 1000XM2 are the two best over-ear noise-cancelling headphones money can buy.

Flyers swear by both, but Sony’s new 1000XM3 pulls ahead of the QC 35 II’s with arguably even better noise-cancellation, greater comfort, and one sweet new feature that’s perfect for cruising in the skies.”

The 1000XM3s sport a more cushioned headband and even, clear noise cancellation with Sony’s HD noise-canceling processor QN1, which Sony claims is four times more powerful than its predecessor. Like the 1000XM2s, the 1000XM3s connect to the Sony I Connect Headphones app to customize sound and noise blocking to your environment. Google Assistant is also built in.

The headphones are also equipped with Atmospheric Pressure Optimizing for better sound at high altitude (that’s the “sweet new feature” Ray Wong mentioned above). To take a call, a touch to the right ear cup will lower the volume and turn up the microphones.

Regularly $349.99, you can save $48.01 and grab the black or silver pair for $299.99. The deal ends Sunday, April 28, and who knows when (if) it’ll be back — so splurge now or spend an extra $48 later.
