Not that it was a bad device — quite the opposite, in fact. A streaming device you could take anywhere that just needed to plug into an HDMI port and connect to Wi-Fi is great. But if you can watch something in 4K, why would you chose not to?

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is $34.99, $15 off the original price of $49.99.
According to Amazon, the device is 80% more powerful than its first iteration, can support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and has a new quad core, 1.7GHz processor. All that for less than $35? We’re sold.
