TL;DR: This cute Farberware touchscreen air fryer can hold two pounds of food,  and it’s on sale for $39 at Walmart — a 44% savings.

We all scramble for that “oh shit, I definitely need to add something to this” gift ever year. When giving a mug alone isn’t enough but AirPods are over the top, a cheap air fryer is a middle-ground gift that you know they’ll use.

Walmart dropped its Black Friday 2019 ad scan on Nov. 13 and announced a bunch of already-live sales with it. One of those gets you a 3.2-quart air fryer from Farberware (with a touchscreen!) for $39. You could literally buy six of these for the price of one XXL Philips air fryer.

(Speaking of add-on gifts, Walmart also has large-jar Yankee candles for $15 while they’re $29 on Yankee’s site.)

3.2 quarts is the perfect size for feeding two or three mouths. The two pounds of food that it can hold equals nuggets and fries simultaneously, a few burgers, and enough onion rings or mozz sticks to feed a small party. The display has eight pre-programmed settings that choose the proper time and temperature for specific foods.

Fryers with touchscreens and too many presets often make one-touch cooking harder than it needs to be. Rest assured that this one is self-explanatory and simple enough for people who aren’t experienced with trendy kitchen gadgets.

Walmart customer Lynn F writes:

This was my first air fryer purchase and I just have to say I love, love, love it!!! The first thing I cooked in it was hamburgers ( I was craving a burger, but my bbq was damaged during recent heavy storms). I was able to cook 2 good sized burgers at once, 6 mins on each side, and they turned out beautiful. There was plenty of cooking space and clean up was so easy. I was so impressed. I actually purchased 2 at the time, as my daughter wants one, so I got the 2nd one for her upcoming birthday. Hope she will be just as impressed as I was. Can’t wait to try some vegetables and onion rings this weekend.

Regularly $69, you can save $30 and get the 3.2-quart fryer for $39 with next-day delivery.
