Get a cheap laptop from Lenovo, HP, Dell, and more
Laptops are big-ticket items, and aren’t always as accessible as they should be in terms of price. The fact that it can cost you upwards of $2,000 to get a decent MacBook is… well, not all that fair.
But, there are a lot of budget options out there that are actually worth checking out, meaning they aren’t pieces of crap. Chromebooks are among some of the better cheap laptop options, but your choices do go beyond those. They’re just a little bit trickier to find.
So, starting now, we’ll be bringing you a fresh batch of affordable laptop deals every Friday and Monday. Let’s dig in, shall we?
2-in-1 laptops are always a good bet because, well, it’s a laptop and a tablet at the same time. Talk about versatility. The Lenovo Flex 15 is a great option, and at only $499 (was $619), it’s a steal.
The Vostro 3490 is a reliable work laptop that’ll suit remote workers nicely. It’s only $469 at Dell, saving you $286.
If your priority is having a nice display on a budget, the Asus VivoBook 15 is a good choice. The anti-glare HD screen in conjunction with the nano-bezel design looks really great, and you can get one for only $479.99 (was $549.99).
“Refurbished” isn’t a dirty word, especially when it can score you an Acer laptop for only $169.99.
The IdeaPad is an all-around great computer, with a gorgeous display, a processor that’ll certainly get the job done, and a decent amount of storage.
Not quite a 2-in-1, but this Dell Inspiron laptop does have a touch-screen. It’s $399.99 at Best Buy, saving you $50.
The VivoBook is one of our favorite budget laptops — it’s great all around, and features a beautiful 17-inch display. Save $50 when you pick one up at Best Buy.
The HP Chromebook is another super cheap option that’s great for occasional web browsing and document editing. Right now, you can get one for just $199, which is $50 off the usual price.
