‘Game of Thrones’s’ John Bradley West shared first rehearsal schedule

John Bradley West, who plays Samwell Tarly on “ Game of Thrones,” joined his castmates in marking Sunday’s series finale by posting something special on Instagram.

In a post, Bradley West wrote, “So tonight we have our very last episode. It’s the final step of a long and wonderful journey. A journey that, for me, started at 10am on Monday 19th of July 2010.”

“I know this because recently I found my rehearsal and prep schedule for season 1, week 1,” he continued.

In the accompanying photo, Bradley West showed off the document that included pink highlights for events that required his attendance.

His first day appeared to be a busy one.

From 10 AM to 11 AM he had a stunt rehearsal with Kit Harington and other Castle Black recruits. From 11 AM to 1 PM he had a rehearsal with stunts, and from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM he had a costume fitting.

Some interesting items on the schedule that Bradley West was not included in were a horse riding assessment with Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys, and a “dog meeting” with Kit Harington. One can assume this had something to do with the direwolves who were first seen in season 1, episode 1.

Bradley West ended his post looking back on how the first day and first week would shape his years to come. “I met so many people that week who have come to mean so much to me,” he said. “Back then we couldn’t have known the journey we’d go on together. I wouldn’t swap that experience, or those people, for the world.”
