Chris Hemsworth said ‘Endgame’ cast ignored the no-cameras rule

Chris Hemsworth says that the “Avengers: Endgame” stars couldn’t resist the urge to take photos on the set of the Marvel movie, even though they weren’t allowed to.

“Any time you’d get on your phone, you’d be like, ‘Who’s watching?'” Hemsworth said of feeling paranoid about getting in trouble for recording things during an appearance on NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday.

The “Men in Black: International” star went on to say that despite the strict policy, “every now and then” he’d catch costars taking out their phones.

“Especially when it was all the Avengers in the same room, it was like, ‘I’m not missing this opportunity.'”

The 35-year-old actor, known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, went on to share a video of himself in his “Endgame” costume (which includes a sweatsuit, his new unruly hairstyle, and his altered physique), singing Johnny Cash’s “Hurt.” You can see the video below.

After “Endgame” hit theaters in April, the stars waited for the “spoiler ban” to lift before sharing photos and videos that they took on the set of the top-secret movie.

Lots of the actors posted videos taken when they were all together to film the movie’s major battle scene, like this one that Chris Evans posted. Elizabeth Olsen shared a similar one, too.

Chris Pratt also shared a video, writing: “I remember being blown away in this moment on the @avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones. I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a group that likely will never be in the same room again. We are so blessed.”

Mark Ruffalo shared a photo of himself and Hemsworth wearing wigs that didn’t make it into the movie.

There’s a lot to unpack in this video shared by Evans.

Jeremy Renner posted videos and photos showing fans how he transformed into Ronin.

Karen Gillan and Pratt also posed for a fun selfie.

Robert Downey Jr. shared a touching video from Tony and Peter Parker’s emotional “Endgame” reunion

Tom Holland, notorious Marvel spoiler, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the funeral scene.

“I guess when Barry said no cameras we all heard bring your cameras. Hands down the most memorable day of my career and still to this day, the strangest wedding I’ve ever been to,” he wrote.

Ruffalo also posted photos from that day of filming.

“We took the ‘no camera’ rule VERY seriously,” he said.

Evans shared an image of his transformation into the older version of Steve Rogers.

You can catch Katherine Langford, whose role as the grown-up version of Tony’s daughter got cut from the film, in this video taken on Downey Jr.’s last day on set.

Some of the original Avengers posed for a goofy photo.

They also gathered together for a meal when the cameras weren’t rolling.
