TL;DR: The Beats Pill+ portable speaker is on sale on Amazon for 33% to 37% off its suggested retail price of $179.95. Choose from three different colors: white ($113.99), black ($113.99), or red ($119.99).

Apple has finally jumped on the Dolby Atmos train with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pros, equipping its new smartphones with support for the premium audio technology. They join the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, which were some of the first devices to offer Dolby Atmos, per Mashable’s Raymond Wong.

Even with Dolby Atmos, however, most smartphones’ built-in audio technology will likely struggle to do justice to the deep, thumping basses and delicately plucked high notes in your favorite songs. After all, the devices themselves are just too compact; there’s no room for powerful systems capable of creating an ~immersive spatial listening environment~ every time you press “play.”

Fortunately, giving your smartphone’s sound a boost is as easy as pairing it with a portable Bluetooth speaker. The Beats Pill+ happens to be on sale on Amazon right now for up to $65.96 off, and you can get it in your choice of three colors: black, white, or red.

The Beats Pill+ is a redesign of the original Beats Pill portable speaker. (You know the one — it made a cameo at the beginning of Miley Cyrus’ infamous video for “We Can’t Stop.”) It’s only slightly larger than its predecessor, but way better-sounding thanks to the addition of a stereo active two-way crossover system that produces crystal-clear audio. Once paired with a Bluetooth device, you can use it for completely wireless listening as well as making/receiving phone calls.

The Beats Pill+’s status as a stellar smartphone sidekick is solidified by the fact that it comes with its own lightning to USB-A charging cable, which you can use to share some of its juice with another device. (On a full charge, it’s got up to 12 hours of battery life.)

Head over to Amazon to score a sweet deal on a Beats Pill+ portable speaker: Normally $179.99, you’ll pay just $113.99 apiece for the black and white models (a 37% savings) and only $119.99 for the red model (a 33% savings).
