Apple’s AirPods are on sale for $12 off on Amazon
Remember two days ago when we freaked out over AirPods being $9 off at Amazon?
It’s happening again, but intensified.
Apple AirPods are now $12 off (double digits!), making them just $147. That’s only $8 more than the AirPods’ lowest price ever on Amazon, which was $139.
We can only hope that Apple is doing some stealthy nod to the AirPods 2 by dropping the original AirPods price by $3 every day. By our calculations, they’ll be free by June. (Just kidding, but this is how unhinged our minds become when AirPods are on sale like this.)
There’s a reason for AirPods being so expensive in the first place. These smart buds automatically pair when the case is opened, stop playing music when removed from your ear, and resume when put back in. Those extra holes actually house optical sensors with accelerometers — meaning your headphones know as much about your environment as your phone does
Though, pair isn’t even the right word to use: Because they’re armed with Apple’s W1 chip, you’ll get seamless connection between your AirPods (and anything signed into your iCloud account) without having to go to the Bluetooth menu or wait for pairing. The W1 chip also helps with battery life — and with the help of the carrying case’s 19 hours, you can have a full 24 hours of playback on one charge.
Regularly $159.99, you can save $12 and snag the AirPods for $147 — and HURRY.
