Amazon wants you to do your holiday shopping on its site. The company is known for pulling out all the stops for Black Friday and seasonal shopping with perks like free shipping with no minimum, even for non-Prime members, and guaranteed on-time Christmas shipping as late as Dec. 19. This holiday season Amazon isn’t alone in offering free one-day shipping — Target and Walmart are in on it now, too.

When it comes to Black Friday, Amazon doesn’t really honor the “day” part. It treats the time around Thanksgiving as more of a deals marathon. Cyber Monday deals are almost identical to those on Black Friday, with a little variation.

Prime Day is basically a summer Black Friday, so it’s not really surprising that Amazon would just repeat discounts we saw in July. Though, the company has released a new line of devices since then, so some things might be switched up.

Amazon typically releases its Black Friday deals late compared to other merchants, so we might not see an official list of deals until about a week before Thanksgiving. Luckily, our friends at BestBlackFriday.com are stellar at tracking deals and have predicted what we might see from Amazon this year for Black Friday. Expect discounts on Echos, tablets, and Fire TV.

Remember that these are predicted prices, and none are official until Amazon announces them ahead of Black Friday.

Echo devices

Which Amazon devices will be on sale for Black Friday 2019? Here are our predictions.

Amazon’s Echo lineup is a staple in the company’s portfolio of devices. The smart assistants are equipped with Alexa skills that give you the power to play music, check the weather, hear the news, control smart home devices, and so much more. At this point, we have quite a few Echos to choose from, and we’re expecting a handful of them to go on sale for Black Friday.

  • Echo Dot (3rd Gen) for $19.99 ($30 off): This Echo Dot was replaced with the one featuring an LED display, making it an older model. We’re guessing that the Black Friday price will drop down to $19.99 from $49.99 — that is, if it’s still around by then.

  • Echo Dot with LED display for $39.99 ($20 off): The newest Echo Dot has an LED display that shows the time, outdoor temperature, or timers. It makes a great addition to nightstands, as it has alarm clock features. In addition to a discount, we might see some two-pack deals on the device.

  • Echo (3rd Gen) for $49.99 ($50 off): Amazon recently upgraded its full-size speaker that gives you Alexa capabilities with stellar audio output. While this is a newer version since Prime Day, we’re expecting to see the same Prime Day discount on Black Friday.

  • Echo Plus for $109.99 ($40 off): The Echo Plus didn’t see an upgrade this year, so you’ll still get the same great sound that was available last Black Friday. As such, we predict we’ll see the same discount as last year.

  • Echo Studio for $159.99 ($40 off): This device doesn’t even release until Nov. 7, but we’re guessing it will be $40 off based on how much Amazon discounted its top-of-the-line speaker (Echo Plus) last year. This is definitely one to look our for this Black Friday.

  • Echo Flex for $14.99 ($10 off): This is another one that won’t be released until later (Nov. 14). It’s a plug-in smart speaker that allows you to access Alexa from more places in your home. Based on Amazon’s history of discounting its smaller electronics, we think the Flex will be $10 off.

Tablets and e-readers

Which Amazon devices will be on sale for Black Friday 2019? Here are our predictions.

Amazon’s Fire tablets don’t necessarily compete with Apple’s iPads, but they do make for great affordable tablets. They have HD displays, decent processors, and can hold their own when it comes to battery life. Amazon has been remarkably consistent in its Fire tablet pricing the last two years, so we feel like we can safely predict their sale prices this Black Friday.

  • Fire HD 8 for $49.99 ($30 off): This tablet has an 8-inch display and comes with either 16 or 32GB of internal storage. The Fire HD 8 can run up to 10 hours on a single charge. Amazon has stuck with the same Black Friday price since 2017, so we won’t be surprised if we see it again.

  • Fire HD 7 for $29.99 ($20 off): The Fire HD 7 features a 7-inch IPS display and comes with either 16 or 32GB of internal storage. It has a battery life of up to seven hours. It’s not a super advanced tablet, but definitely a good deal for $29.99, which is what the Black Friday price has been since 2017.

  • Fire HD 10 for $99.99 ($50 off): Amazon’s most advanced tablet clocks in at 10 inches with a 1080p full HD display and more storage, with a 32 or 64GB option. It’s faster and has a longer battery life of up to 12 hours. As with the other Fire tablets, the HD 10 has seen a consistent discount for the past two Black Fridays.

  • Kindle with built-in front light for $59.99 ($30 off): This is one of the newer Kindle e-readers and it has an adjustable front light that lets you read comfortably indoors and outdoors, day or night. We saw this price during Prime Day this year, so we expect to see it again for Black Friday.

Fire TV

Which Amazon devices will be on sale for Black Friday 2019? Here are our predictions.

Amazon’s Fire TV brings smart TV to you. You get tons of channels and all of your favorite streaming platforms, plus Alexa skills and voice control.

  • Fire TV Stick 4K for $24.99 ($25 off): Amazon’s classic media streaming stick is optimized for 4K UHD streaming and gives any TV access to tens of thousands of channels, apps, and Alexa skills. The included Alexa remote lets you control your TV using your voice. We’re predicting Amazon will repeat its Prime Day pricing on this device.

  • 50-inch 4K TV (Fire TV edition) for sub-$300: This Toshiba TV gives you all the benefits of a Fire TV stick without the need for the actual stick. You still get the Alexa remote for voice control. We saw a lightning deal on Prime Day for this TV, so expect something similar for Black Friday.
