You’ve finally done it. After a few months of research and shopping, you’ve built the gaming rig of your dreams and you’re ready to fire that sucker up.

Now ask yourself: if you’re that deep down the rabbit hole, are you going to settle for a basic, off-the-shelf monitor? Of course not. Do you think streamers like Ninja and Professor Broman are using those kinds of monitors?

Your gaming PC is packing the best, so your monitor should be the best, too. That kind of quality comes at a price though, which is why shopping sales on gaming monitors is a must.

Good news: Dell has an answer for both. The Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitor is currently priced at $1,149.99, which is $350 off the original price of $1,499.99.

As far as gaming monitors go, this is about as good as you can get. At a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 with 120Hz refresh rate, you can imagine just how good Battlefield V and Shadow of the Tomb Raider will look on this monitor. Add in the NVIDIA G-SYNC, and you can kiss goodbye to distortions and tears during fast gameplay.

The curved design is a welcome choice, too. Like any curved TV, you’ll get a better viewing plane with less fade on the sides since it’s angled towards the center. Just be aware of any glare in the room, as the curve will hold it for longer than a flatscreen monitor. (Simple solution? Just pull those shades and embrace the darkness.)
