President Donald Trump was quick to tweet out about the fire consuming parts of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris on Monday afternoon.

“So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!” Trump wrote.

The New York Times spoke to cathedral spokesperson André Finot, who said the fire was started in the spire of the cathedral. The cathedral is one of Paris’s most famous monuments and has been standing for centuries.
