Two teenagers injured after being shot in east London | UK News



Two teenagers have been injured, including one critically, after being shot in Walthamstow in east London last night.

Police are appealing for information after both victims were thought to have been attacked in the street.

One was shot and the other was stabbed and shot.

Officers found an 18-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound after being called at 10.36pm on Sunday to the scene in St James Street, Walthamstow.

He was taken by ambulance to an east London hospital.

The man is in a stable condition and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The second victim, aged 17, was found nearby suffering from stab wounds and a gunshot injury.

He was also taken to an east London hospital and he remains in a critical condition.

No one has been arrested in connection with the attacks.

The Metropolitan Police is appealing for anyone with information or footage of the incidents to contact officers.

They are asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 6831/29Dec.
