Three teens arrested after 17-year-old stabbed to death in West Yorkshire

Three 17-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder after another teenager was stabbed to death in West Yorkshire.

Police, who were called to East Park Road in Halifax at about 9.30pm on Saturday, said there were a “significant number of witnesses”.

After arriving at the scene, officers found two males with stab wounds and a third with a head injury.

One of the stabbing victims, who was 17, died not long after being taken to hospital.

The other two victims were also admitted to hospital and are said to be in a stable condition.

“Our enquiries are at an early stage and are continuing, but we believe there were a significant number of witnesses to what happened,” said Detective Chief Inspector Jim Griffiths.
