Good afternoon

Welcome along to live coverage of the final stage of the 2018 Tour de France where Geraint Thomas is set to complete overall victory on the Champs-Elysees and become the first Welshman (and third Briton) to win the race.

Today’s 116km stage starts in Houilles and heads to the centre of Paris in what will be, barring accidents, a celebratory ride for Thomas and his Team Sky team-mates.

There is, however, serious business at hand for the remaining sprinters in the race. Peter Sagan (Bora Hansgrohe) clinched the green jersey some time ago but will hope to sign off his Tour with stage victory on the Champs-Elysees while Alexander Kristoff (UAE Team Emirates), Arnaud Demare (FDJ) and Christophe Laporte (Cofidis) will be hoping to end on a high note by putting one over on their Slovakian rival.

The peloton rolls out of Houilles at 3:15pm (UK time) with a sprint finish on the Champs-Elysees expected around 6:15pm.
