Former Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain and her husband have tied the knot again – 14 years after their arranged marriage.

The TV presenter and author posted pictures of the ceremony, including snaps of the double finger ring on her hand, the cake covered in mini cup cakes and macaroons and the pair signing the wedding certificate, on Instagram.

The message read: “Nothing fancy just love. No frills. Just us. We did it again. I do. I always will. I would do it all over again #married #secondtime @swarovski @whiskdrizzle @abumdm.” , after she married Abdal.

Responding to her message, he tweeted: You can’t run away from me now. I love you to infinity and beyond Xxx.”

Mrs Hussain had only met Abdal once when she married him aged 19 in a match arranged by their parents in a traditional Islamic ceremony in Bangladesh.

The couple have three children – sons Musa and Dawud and daughter Maryam.

Hussain, 33, has previously said she does not think her children “need” her to find them a husband or wife in the future.

Last year, she told Good Housekeeping magazine: “I didn’t know my husband, and then we had two children, and then I fell in love with him.”

But she had said it was “tough” because an arranged marriage means “marrying a complete stranger”.

Since winning Bake Off in 2015, Hussain has hosted a number of her own food programmes and has released several books.
