Man, 23, stabbed to death at youth club in Brixton, south London | UK News

A 23-year-old man has been stabbed to death at a youth club in south London, police have said.

The youth club was open when the attack happened, Scotland Yard added.

Officers were called to Minet Road in Brixton at 18.45pm on Thursday.

Police provided the victim with first aid and the London air ambulance was called.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 19.27pm.

His next of kin have been informed.

While officers are awaiting formal identification, they are confident they know the man’s identity.

A post-mortem will be held in due course.

Detectives are looking at CCTV and forensic examinations are being carried out.

There are no arrests as yet.
