Bombardier to sell Belfast aerostructures business | Business News



Canadian aerospace and engineering firm Bombardier has announced plans to sell its Belfast aerostructures business.

The company, which employs 4,000 people at a number of sites in the area, said it was creating a streamlined aviation unit focused on operations in Montreal, Mexico and Texas.

As a result, it said it would pursue the sale of its aerostructures businesses in Belfast and Morocco, describing them as “great businesses with tremendous capabilities”.
