Attempted murder arrest after man falls on Tube tracks at Barons Court



Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after another man ended up on the tracks at a Tube station in west London.

Officers were called to reports of an assault at Barons Court station in West Kensington after a man fell from a platform at about 11.15pm on Sunday.

The victim, who is aged in his 30s, was not hit by a train but was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

“A number of enquiries are underway to establish what happened and the circumstances leading to the victim being on the tracks,” said a British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman.

Officers are urging anyone who saw what happened or has any information to call 0800 40 50 40 with the reference 606 of 29/10/2018.
