The iPhone SE with 256GB of storage has disappeared from Apple Store
If you were planning to buy the iPhone SE with maximum storage, we regret to inform you that the 256GB variant no longer exists on Apple Store.
The iPhone SE is currently only available with 64GB or 128GB of storage memory, a change that has likely happened after the iPhone 13 launch event Tuesday (via MacRumors).
The iPhone SE currently only has two storage options.

When the second generation of the iPhone SE launched in 2020, it was available with three storage options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Apple’s own tech specifications for the device show the 256GB option was there (see screenshot below).
Apple’s original tech specifications for the second-gen iPhone SE, however, show that the 256GB variant does exist.

The iPhone SE is among the old models that Apple still lists in its online store; other available models include the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 mini, and the iPhone 11.
The change could mean that Apple is ramping down production of the iPhone SE, but it could also mean that the company deemed the iPhone SE 256GB too competitive with some other model. In any case, it’s gone, but you may still be able to buy it from third party retailers.
