Apple Store is down ahead of Apple Watch 7 launch
Ouf of all the gadgets that Apple launched during its September event, the Apple Watch Series 7 is the one that still hasn’t gone on sale yet.
This changes today, and Apple just took its Store down ahead of the launch.
Pre-orders for the Apple Watch 7 start at 5 a.m. PT (8 a.m. ET) on Friday, October 8, and it’s scheduled to hit the stores a week from now, on October 15.
We’ve seen reports about the new Watch potentially being in short supply, so you may have to act quickly if you want to get one fast.
The Apple Watch 7 was widely rumored to be a major redesign of the previous model, but that hasn’t materialized. Instead, we got a device that’s very similar to the Apple Watch 6, but with a slightly bigger face.
Here’s what’s new.

Other changes include better durability, faster charging, brighter display, and new colors, among other changes. The starting price for the Apple Watch Series 7 is $399.
