Instagram is down in parts of the U.S., South America, and Europe
There must be a glitch in the Matrix because Instagram appears to be down.
Beginning around 2 p.m. PT on Thursday, Instagram feeds stopped loading and refreshing for some users. Some received a gray bar saying, “Couldn’t refresh feed.” Instagram also displayed a red box with the message, “We’re sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again.”
According to Down Detector, the problem is affecting the East and West Coast in the U.S., as well as parts of Europe and South America.
Users, as always, turned to Twitter in their time of need for information, and solace.
Mashable has reached out to Instagram to ask for more information on the outage.
