Save $70 on this smart, personal air conditioner
Summer — AKA the sweating season — is rapidly approaching, when the matter of personal climate turns into a major battleground. For instance, your better half might like snoozing in sauna-like conditions, but you might not. Or vice versa. Either way, take matters into your own hands with the EvaSMART 2 — the personal A/C you can control right from your phone.
Last summer, we featured its predecessor while it was on sale. This time around, the EvaSMART 2 has supplanted it with some key upgrades, and it’s similarly pegged at a great price: just $199 after a $70 markdown.
The EvaSMART can cool a space up to 33 square feet, thanks to its 1,360 BTU max output per hour. And since it’s compact enough to fit in any nook or cranny (it’s just over seven by eight inches), it’s perfect for use in your office or home. It’s also energy efficient, consuming just 12.5W of power in the process and helping you cut your A/C bills in the process.
Its IoT functionality allows you to integrate it with your smart home devices (Alexa and Google Home included, among others). Control it with the touchscreen, app, or your voice — and use it in tandem with the Evapolar app to adjust your climate to your liking. Turn up the fan, tweak your humidity settings, change the light of the tank, and more, all without having to get up to cross the room.
Plus, it also does double duty as a humidifier and air cleaner, giving you maximum customizability as to your optimal room climate.
Choose from white, black, and gray options, all of which feature a $70 markdown from the regular $269 price — bringing the price of the EvaSMART to just $199.
