The new Echo Show is on sale for $40 off on Amazon
Looking for a new digital hub for your smart home? The Echo Show is Amazon’s smart display that works with Alexa and it’s now on sale for just $189.99, or $40 off its retail price on Amazon.
Normally going for $229.99, the Echo Show features a bright 10.1-inch HD touchscreen display at 720p resolution to display films and TV shows from Prime Video, live TV with a Hulu TV subscription, weather and news updates, music, and recipes and timers for a hands-free solution for cooking in the kitchen. In fact, if you run out of an ingredient, you can just add it to your Amazon shopping list via Alexa.
The smart display also features high-end speakers with Dolby processing, so all your music and podcasts will be clear, rich, and in stereo to fill a room with brilliant audio. It’s built with eight microphones and far-field technology, so Alexa will not have a problem picking up your voice — even if you’re on the other side of the room or if loud music is playing in the background. But you can also simply turn off the microphone for privacy.
Since the Show is an Echo device, it works seamlessly with others in the smart family, including the Echo Spot, Echo Dot, and Amazon Echo, as well as the Fire 7, Fire HD 8, and Fire HD 10. The smart display also works with the Ring Video Doorbell 2, so you can have a direct video feed from your front door to the Echo Show. It can even make Skype video calls.
Amazon customer jtolley writes:
“So far we love the echo shows. My mom had a stroke a couple of years ago that left her unable to speak, therefore can not answer or talk on the phone. We got one to put in my mom’s nursing home room so we can drop in on her without her having to speak to answer and the kids can tell her about their day or just say hello when we can’t get over to visit. The speaker is phenomenal! I get better sound from the echo than I do from my stereo.”
