“Lowest price on Amazon ever” is always pretty exciting.

But when it’s referring to an Apple product, you do more than watch — right after you ensure that you’re not dreaming, of course.

The newest 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro (256 GB) is $99 off at just $1,049.99 right now, making it the cheapest Amazon has ever seen. And you know Amazon won’t be that nice for long, so hop in it.

Many iPad upgrades pre-2018 were “meh,” and sticking with your older iPad was the cheaper, smarter alternative.

That’s not the case anymore.

The iPad Pro from late fall 2018 sees one of the best iPad upgrades ever: Possibly the most important move was the jump to a custom A12X bionic chip with a Neural Engine, which Apple claims gets you 35% faster processing on single-core and up to 90% faster on multi-core processes. (That’s literally probably more power than anyone will ever need.)

The 2,732 x 2,048 liquid retina display and barely-there bezels are begging for you to start creating — whether that’s drawing, designing on Photoshop, or playing photographer with the 12 MP camera. On your off time, the Apple Pencil sticks magnetically to the iPad to charge, and the iPad itself is armed with 10-hour battery life.

Regularly $1,149.99, you can save $99 and grab the 256 GB WiFi model for $1,049.99. (Psst: The Apple Pencil is also $19 off today. Just saying.)
