The Huawei Matebook X Pro is on sale for $200 off at Amazon
Huawei should soon be a brand just as well known as Apple.
The Chinese company has recently come out with the best folding phone the market has seen so far — but today, we’re here to talk laptops. The Huawei Matebook X Pro outdoes the MacBook (and every laptop ever, really) on nearly every front, and it’s $200 off at Amazon today.
At just $1,299.99, this is cheaper than Microsoft’s sale price and is nearly its lowest price on Amazon ever — it’s only ever been 99 cents cheaper.
Where to start? The Matebook X Pro hits everything you’d want in a laptop both capability-wise and looks-wise. With possibly the thinnest bezels on a laptop ever, a 91% screen-to-body ratio, 3K touchscreen with the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics, and Dolby Atmos audio, it’s essentially a movie theatre on the go. An Intel Core i7 processor and a 12-hour battery life ensure speed and reliability for those long days of non-stop work (slash gaming). But our description barely does it justice — it’s just something you need to experience IRL.
There’s one thing that’ll seem a little bit off to some people: The webcam placement. Laptop webcams are traditionally across the top bezel, but the Matebook X Pro’s bezels are literally too thin for that. Instead, the camera pops out of the keyboard near the hinges. If you’ll be doing a lot of video calls, keep in mind that it’ll give a slight up-the-nose look — but if you’re paranoid and like to cover your webcam, this one is conveniently private.
Regularly $1,499.99, you can save $200 and get it for $1,299.99.
