Huawei's Nova 4 has a 48-megapixel rear camera and a 'hole punch' display

Huawei Nova 4 didn’t beat Samsung to the punch (pun intended) — the Korean giant launched its own “hole punch” phone, the Galaxy A8s, a week ago — but it’s still an interesting device, and not only because of its screen.
The screen, however, is what will make the Nova 4 noticeable, so let’s start with that. Specs-wise, it’s the same screen as the one in the Galaxy A8s — a 6.4-inch, 2,310×1,080 LCD screen with a modest chin and a “hole punch” cutout in its upper left corner to accommodate the selfie camera. It’s an obvious new trend that we’ll likely see a lot more of next year — Samsung’s next flagship phone, the Galaxy S10, is rumored to have a similar screen as well. Read more…
