How to watch Google’s Pixel 3 event live online
Google is finally ready to make the Pixel 3 official.
After countless leaks (spanning the course of several months), Google will kick off its fall hardware event at 11 a.m. EST. If you weren’t invited, do not fear because it’s streaming live on YouTube.
Since the event will be broadcast on YouTube, the player below should be friendly across all platforms and devices (such as iOS, Android, Windows, Chrome, and Mac). Google will almost certainly be announcing the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, and we’re expecting a handful of additional devices.
A Home Hub will likely bring the Google Assistant into a dedicated video-chatting device. We’re expecting it to be similar to the Amazon Echo Show, and since the device is made by Google (unlike the Lenovo Smart Display), we suspect that it could have some exclusive features.
Chrome OS should make an appearance in the form of the Pixel Slate, a laptop-tablet hybrid. Google will probably use this a showcase to feature tablet enchainments backed into update software.
The Chromecast hasn’t received an update in a few years, but the fourth-generation streaming stick is also expected to make an appearance at the show. After-all BestBuy started selling it early just a few weeks back. So we’re expecting new phones, a tablet, and some home products. However, Google could surprise us with updated PixelBuds, a second generation Clips camera, or maybe something entirely different.
Regardless of what happens, it should be an exciting day. Come back to Mashable for all the latest from the ground at the event.
