Save $249 on the Apple iPad Air 2 at Walmart and stay connected wherever you are
While iPads are totally awesome, they don’t come cheap. That’s typical for Apple, which charges a premium for their devices. (The new iPhone XS Max for example? It *starts* at $1,099, while the 512 GB is a whopping $1,449.) Thankfully, if you’re looking for an iPad, Walmart has a great sale that you should take advantage of while you can.
The Apple iPad Air 2 16 GB with WiFi and Cellular is currently available from Walmart for $379.99. Normally, the iPad is listed at $629, so you’re saving nearly $250 with this deal.
The big feature with this particular iPad is the cellular function. You can add the Air 2 to your data plan to open up 4G connectivity to the iPad. Attaching the tablet to your data plan will allow you to hop on and use the tablet from anywhere you can get a 4G connection — just like your smartphone.
Even if you’re just going to use the Air 2 with WiFi and not worry about the cellular function, this iPad is still worth the investment. In 2014, we named the Air 2 a Mashable Choice product, with Lance Ulanoff writing in his review that, “Holding the original iPad in one hand and Apple’s new iPad Air 2 in the other, one can only marvel at the tablet progress Apple has made in a little more than four years.”
Shop the deal at Walmart while you can.
