Robots are totally obsessed with this traditional children’s game
The Kendama is a traditional Japanese children’s toy used in a game more commonly known as “ball in a cup”. Now, researchers are using it to teach robots through a method called ‘reinforced learning’. The robots learn by interacting with the toy repeatedly until swinging the ball at the correct angle and velocity to catch it in the cup or on the stick.
