T-Mobile customers complain of widespread outages
T-Mobile customers are reporting dropped calls and lack of service, as are people who use Verizon and AT&T.
DownDetector showed outages across the U.S. on the T-Mobile network Monday afternoon. Outages were concentrated in southern cities such as Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, and Houston, but were also occurring in New York, Chicago, and California.
Self-identified T-Mobile customers complained about the outages on Twitter.
Anyone with T-Mobile suddenly not able to make phone calls? Currently happening to me and 2 coworkers in Atlanta and wondering if there are issues elsewhere too…

T-Mobile was trending on Twitter and was the subject of nearly 100,000 complaints on DownDetector. But other cellular networks, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and others also had problems, with around 10,000 reports combined.
Mashable has reached out to T-Mobile for confirmation of the outage, and to ask whether the problem is isolated to T-Mobile. We will update this story when and if we hear back.
