Electric ship sets sustainable tourism standard, eliminating noise and pollution
Brim Explorer is a hybrid electric ship packed with 800 kilowatt hours of batteries, which means it can cruise the waters for 10 hours on 100 percent sustainable electricity.
The ship was specifically designed to have a minimal impact on marine life — its bespoke propulsion system and electric drive eliminate noise and pollution.
This video is part of a series on innovative design and technology, sponsored by Microsoft 365.
