Instant Pot made an air fryer lid and it’s on sale
TL;DR: If you own a six-quart Instant Pot, there’s no need to buy an air fryer: They have a lid that does a ton of new things, is compatible with most six-quart pots, and is on sale for $79.95, down from $140.
Instant Pots can do almost everything you could want from a kitchen appliance except for air frying. Well, until now, that is. The brand released a detachable lid that turns compatible 6-quart cookers into air fryers.
This ingenious lid retails for $140, which is pretty hefty for something that doesn’t stand alone. Luckily though, it’s currently reduced down to $79.95.
In addition to air frying, this lid has broil, bake, roast, reheat, and dehydrate functions, so you don’t have to continuously swap it out for the standard Instant Pot lid. Along with the air frying lid you’ll get a multi-level frying basket that goes inside the pot, allowing you to utilize the deep space.
As amazing as this lid is, it unfortunately does not fit every model of Instant Pot. It’s compatible with most 6-quart models and only works with those with stainless steel inner pots. It is not compatible with the Instant Pot Smart WiFi 60, Duo Evo Plus 6, Duo Evo Plus 60, Duo SV, or Max 60.
If you have one of the models it will work with and you’ve been itching to get your hands on an air fryer, grab the Instant Pot air frying lid on sale for $79.95.
Loving the idea of the Instant Pot air fryer lid but don’t have an Instant Pot? Check out these ones on sale.
This version of the Instant Pot is seven appliances in one, acting as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté, yogurt maker, and warmer. It has gorgeous red detailing for when you want to add a pop of color to your kitchen. This machine would usually cost you $99.99, but it’s Amazon’s deal of the day and on sale for $64.99.
This is Instant Pot’s best-selling model. It’s just like the previously mentioned version, acting as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté, yogurt maker, and warmer. It’s just black and silver instead of red and silver. Snag it for $79, down from $99.95.
This bad boy is a step up, doing everything the Duo does with the addition of canning and sous vide functions. Unfortunately this is one of the models listed as not compatible with the air frying lid, but it’s still a great appliance if air frying isn’t a necessity for you. Normally the Instant Pot Max is $199.95, but you can get it for $109.99 right now.
Again, this more advanced model has all the features from the Duo, but it also makes cakes and eggs and sterilizes food. It has tons of one-touch presets to take the guesswork out of cooking. Usually $149.95, the Ultra is on sale for $128.38.
