Save up to 57% on Alienware, LG, and more
TL;DR: Nearly 20 curved monitors are on sale across Amazon and Walmart, saving you as much as 57% during this stellar sale.
Big, bright, and boasting 1000R curvatures that surround your entire field of vision, Samsung’s new Odyssey G7 and G9 QLED ultrawide gaming monitors were two of the big cheeses at last week’s CES 2020. And if you’re a serious PC gamer who wants to feel like you’re sitting in the center of the action while traipsing around various virtual worlds, we’re willing to bet money on two things:
-
You’ll for sure want to snag one of those monitors upon their release sometime during the second quarter of 2020.
-
You’ll need to start saving for that purchase, like, yesterday. (Samsung has yet to release official numbers, but we’re calling it now: These puppies will be pricey with a capital “P.”)
If you don’t like waiting around for the G7 and G9 or spending your entire tax return on an extravagant new display for your gaming setup, we honestly can’t blame you — and besides, there are a bunch of curved monitors on sale at Walmart and Amazon that you can get right now, with discounts as high as 57% off. (Pro tip: Put all the cash you’ll be saving towards this Humble Bumble PC gaming deal — all of the proceeds go to an Australian bushfire relief fund.)
After pouring over both retailers’ listings, here are the absolute best curved monitor deals we managed to scrounge up:
Featuring a sweeping 1900R curvature with wide viewing angles, this 34-inch Alienware monitor uses Nvidia’s G-SYNC technology to eliminate screen tearing in favor of smooth, sharp imagery. (Untitled Goose Game will never look better.) It usually retails for $1,349.99 (per Dell’s website), but you can order it from Walmart right now for only $799 — a whopping $550.99 savings.
This ultra-slim, 32-inch monitor from Samsung measures in at an impressive 0.5 inches thick and sports a deep 1800R curvature for a hella immersive gaming experience — plus, Samsung’s Active Crystal Color technology and a 5000:1 contrast ratio work in tandem to deliver vibrant picture quality with deep, dark blacks. The last time we checked, Amazon had it on sale for just $247, or $252 off its suggested retail price of $499.
Also from the South Korean tech giant comes this 32-inch Full HD monitor, which features a 1800R curvature with a wide viewing angle, an anti-eye strain mode, and built-in dual 5W speakers. (That’s right — no need to clutter up your desktop with extra cords.) Samsung sells it for $349.99, but you can save $200 by snagging it from Walmart, where it’s currently on sale for just $149.99.
