Can’t wait to get your hands on Apple Arcade, Apple’s new five-bucks-a-month game subscription service? Well, even though Apple Arcade officially goes live Thursday, it may actually be possible to access it today.
Engadget writes (via Mark Gurman) that for some users of Apple’s latest iOS 13 beta, Apple Arcade is already available in the App Store. I tried to get it myself, but couldn’t — perhaps you’ll have better luck.
It’s unclear whether this gives users access to everything Apple Arcade offers, but Engadget claims users who install it can invite family members and start playing some of the games included in the package.
Note that this apparently only works for iOS 13 beta testers; here you can sign up to become one.
Apple Arcade is the company’s first gaming subscription service, offering 100 titles for $4.99 per month — and a promise to further increase this list in the future. Check our overview of the service here.
